For 22 years, the magical community ran under a placid routine. With Minister Shacklebolt in charge, crime rates were low, Death Eaters imprisoned, and prejudice towards Muggle born wizards and witches waned.

In the summer of 2021, the summer before Rose Weasley, Albus Potter, and Scorpius Malfoy were to enter their fifth year, Minister Shacklebolt was presented an irresistible offer the now empty treasury would be restored if he would enter an alliance with his former enemies. continue

NEWS;

Hey everyone. I'm sure that everyone has noticed the incredible drop in activity lately. The entire admin team was hoping that the revamp would help, but I don't think it did. We're going to be making a new site on Invisionfree soon. It's called Black Abyss and it's a bit AU. It'll still be Post Potter, Post Deathly Hollows but it'll be all of our beloved characters grown up and having wonderful lives. Email me, Ella, at hello.ella@hotmail.com if you'd like to be emailed the link once it opens.

I'd like to thank everyone who hung in with us through these incredible months. MM is one of the most incredible sites I've ever seen. It wasn't just about the plotting, we were breaking boundaries together. We had over one hundred members throughout the course of MM and we all knew each other. Some of my best friends are from MM. Ever since MM got a bit inactive, I've branched out looking for a site as welcoming as MM and sadly, I haven't found it. I really think that MM was magical and it wasn't just because of our backstabbing, bitchy, complex characters either. xD Thank you. For everything. Because honestly, MM was all about you. It was all about what y'all made. I was just here to clean up threads. (:

I, Wesley Gilber Borgin, am one hundred and three years old. As a pureblood, I support the Order Resurrected. I ciaim that I am a heterosexual male. I am a practicing athetist and the current wand on display - fourteen inch, rowan, fairy wing - is mine. If asked, I can present evidence of my vampire status. I currently do own a Scottish Terrier named The Professor. My patronus can best be defined as a german shepherd. I am currently employed by myself as a shopkeeper for Borgin Toys.

PERSONALITY

Wes has been the one to lack in the personality category. He is quite charming with his vintage modesty and old time sayings. He had morals of the 1930s-40s ground into his head by his caring mother, making him a classy gentleman. He still opens doors for ladies and offers to help carry grocery bags. Armed with a dimpled grin and his pretty boy looks, he tries to make up for what he is through kind acts. He compliments whenever and wherever he can. He enjoys seeing girls blush at being called "Pretty" or "Doll".

Mainly, he wants people around him to be happy. He aims to please, even if he sometimes can't please all parties. He does not tell much about himself. He would rather hear about your story. He is probably one of the most humble people you have ever met. He hardly takes credit for anything he has done. Sometimes this is painfully so.

He hates what he is. He thinks himself unnatural and a monster. He will never get over what he did to the girl named Chritina so long ago, even if he did every good deed there was. Some have tried to convince him different, but he will not relinquish his dangerous self (even though he's not dangerous at all and still walks wide circles around bees.). He seems stuck in his mannerisms of the past. He is a good guy. He really is. He is the most loyal companion and a great listener. He is one you would like to have in your corner. One just has to move past that he is a vampire to know that side of him.

VOICE, LANGUAGE, ACCENT
Wesley has a deep baritone voice. Invariably it is loud, even when he whispers. Hardly there is a time where you cannot hear him. He is often boisterous and happily talking so, unconciously he is louder than a normal person.

Growing up in Scotland he had a rough Scottish accent for the longest time, even after he was turned. But, when Sylvia -his turner- uprooted the tiny coven to America. Spending most of his younger years of his vampire life there, he gradually lost his rough Highland accent favoring the clearer American one. Though, his mouth has become lazy so his French is atrocious.

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES
If you count his teeth, that's basically the only distinguishing feature despite the fact that he has a dangerous air around him as most vampires tend to have.

CLOTHING STYLE
There are very strict regulations of dress for a vampire. Considering the severe allergic reaction to the sun that vampires tend to have, Wes's wardrobe includes mainly long sleeve shirts that hug his muscular frame along with loose fitting jeans. The sweaters also come in handy at helping prevent anyone that touches him from feeling how cold he actually is on most days.

His favorite color is white, so you will most likely catch him in this color somehow. His favorite outfit is his white sweats with his navy tee and his Air Jordans. This, he thinks, is his power outfit and you will most likely see him in this.

He is never opposed to dressing up. Coming from the time he did, he was required to dress up and wear a button up shirt and slacks on most occasions. A sweater vest and tie were required as well. Today's dress would be appalling to the people back then. So, Wes feels perfectly comfortable in any suit set. It was everyday wear back then. Often a tuxedo will give him the confidence he needs at events. It makes him feel stylish and devinare.

Overall, Wes's style is very relaxed with the flare of vintage attire when called upon.

HISTORY
  • MARCH 24, 1924:

On a warm afternoon in March, Velma Borgin gave birth to her last set of twins. First a girl then five minutes later a boy, making Wesley Gilbert Borgin the last male of the Borgin family. Not much was expected out of the youngest Borgin. He was just to mimic his older brothers and father. He was another set of hands to help with the family business. He was supposed to be a cold hearted Slytherin and hopefully some muscle for the secondary family business which was selling illegal wizardring whiskey and wines to muggles.

  • 1924-1935

Growing up the youngest Borgin was not the easiest thing in the world. It was hard to fight for the chicken legs at the dinner table and nothing you were given was ever new. Starting from age four he had to share a bed with the two brothers closest to him in age in their small house. Often he was the target for teasing because everyone else was older than him. His oldest sister thought she could take over the mother role and bossesd him around often. There wasn't much space ever and the only time he every found sanctuary was outside.

Also the result of being the youngest with a neglectant father, bossy sisters, a smothering mother, and brothers that thirsted for your blood was that you got to spend a tremendous amount of time outside. This didn't bother young Wes at all. It was actually a pleasure. Despite being allergic to bees and almost dying, Wes would rise early in the morning to stow away to the woods behind the house where he would usually play with an old ball or race through the trees on an old broom until he would smash into a tree and have to trudge back to the house to find something to fix it with. Sometimes he would give in and play with his sisters, though usually found their tea parties and playing school boring because he was the one that got bossed around often. When not at play, he would help his mother with her chores, being the somewhat cleanly person he was. There was a special bond between mother and son that she had with him that she didn't have with the others.

This was possibly because he was her last baby. She was the one she secretly showed her talent for woodworking, which she passed onto her son. It was their secret. Every night since he was four years old they would stow away to the massive barn and go up into the loft. He would watch her gently carve out toys for him to take to town and sell for extra money when he got older and one or two for him to play with. Secretly he would stow these away so the rest wouldn't break them in a tree trunk deep in the woods.

At the age of eight his family made Borgin a household name with the Ilfracombe Incident. Being such a large family with hardly any fear, they easily earned the Ministry's trust after covering up such a mess. This was very beneficial in covering up their smuggling and bootlegging.

Due to his rapid growth leading to him by the age of ten being taller than most of the boys his father put him to work hauling boxes around the store and making deliveries. It was around this time that Borgin became a household name. cashing in muggle money for galleons and also being bookies for gamblers betting on anything from Quidditch Games to Muggle horse races. If you wanted it, Atticus Borgin would get it. Which meant Wes would be transporting it, because people hardly suspected a ten year old boy with angelic features to be carrying stolen liquor and dark objects in his backpack.

The school year was very calm for Wes. With the majority of his siblings at Hogwarts and the rest out on their own, he and Winona were left in peace. The only one that usually gave Wes trouble was Will, his oldest brother. Seperating them was a margin of ten years, so Will found it easy to dislike the youngest Borgin. Wes took a lot of heat for stealing their mother's attention away from her former favorite and also for his kind disposition. William thought that being cold hearted was the way it was and Wes's never hurt a fly nature was unacceptable. Wes could never understand why his older brother hated him so. Waylon and Wayne followed suit and made sure to make his life miserable when Will was absent.

Other than the teasing and the constant gruff lectures from his father about how he was too soft was easily ignored by the predominantly care free boy. He had his mother to rescue him if he ever got in trouble and the most he really ever got punishment wise was five licks with the belt or no dinner.

  • 1935-1941

As most students, Wes was very excited to be attending Hogwarts. Living in the constant company of a large family would wear anyone down. Finally finding some new friends that weren't related to him would be a heaven sent. So, prepared to be sorted into Slytherin like all his brothers before him (keeping in mind that they were the Weasley's of the time) he was shocked to find that Hufflepuff was the name that was called out. His first reaction was to wince to the Slytherin table where Walter, Wilda, Willard, and Willene were all staring with mixed shock and anger. Feeling a disappointment he trudged off to the Hufflepuff table and tried to mentally prepare himself for the verbal beating his father would give (worse than Willa's for getting into Gryffindor) and the physical beating from William for "destroying the family name. He did recieve a howler and the cold shoulder from all his siblings save Winona and Willa for a while. But, he found that he fit well with Hufflepuff. They all weren't weak and dumb. They were loyal and played some good quidditch. A lot of them were tall and lanky like he was, though he had them all beat.

The summer between his first and second year was cold, but seeing how much he was shooting up, Atticus made use of him. He was almost tall as William and strong too. During the summers from then on after he buffed out from running and sit ups and push ups he was a bookie for his father, and even though he hated it, he wanted to make his father proud of him in some way and beat up the low life scum he was told to (after a lot of reasoning of course and after they swung at him first usually).

He made the Quidditch team his second year as a Keeper and devoted his life to it, his studies slacking except in Charms. He was generally happy if he got an A and didn't put much pressure on grades. He was handsome and found himself with several girlfriends even though they usually walked over him before dumping him. He didn't mind though. He found himself being a helping hand to his friends and going for the girls who were hurt to make them feel better. He was the nice guy all the way through Hogwarts and usually a shoulder to lean on.

There wasn't much hard about his life. He didn't really care about the rising threat of Tom Riddle and his crazy ways and really only cared about the girlfriend that he deeply cared for. Her name was Emily and he was sure he was in love with her. That was until the last week of school and she dumped him. That was the night everything started.

    --JUNE 26, 1942

There were only two nights of Hogwarts when fate took its course. He wouldn't call it fate. He would call it a curse, but philosophy is not the subject of this section. Still grieving over the loss of his beloved Emily, he found comfort in some friends who decided they were going to drink the night away in a cave like structure under roots of trees in the Forbidden Forest. It was called the speakeasy back then and often you would find students drinking and dancing there. That night was no different. They danced and drank until they were all in heaps on the ground laughing at each other's half finished jokes. That was until their lanterns blew out. Attacks are fast, especially if it's predators versus drunk teenagers that can't even walk. Within minutes, everyone around Wes was dead. He being of great size and strength, was chosen to stay. The last thing he remembered from that night was his turner Sylvia, floating above his head with her wicked smirk. --

  • 1942-Present Day

There isn't much he remembers about the days following the attack. He had been removed and reported missing when they found the bodies of the other students. He never knew what happened to his family after he was gone, but didn't much care. He was so weak from lack of blood and in a deep coma sleep as he made the transition from human to predator. For a while, Sylvia gave him little blood until she could decide what to do with him. The feeling of being utterly helpless was not favorable and eventually Wes was catching rats and feasting on them, feigning weakness when Sylvia came to give him blood. Eventually he saved up enough energy to walk and that's when the frenzy happened.

    --August 18, 1942

When a vampire goes into a frenzy, all remnants of reality are gone. Life become s a blur and all you can think about is getting blood. The feeling without it is comparable to drowning . Every gulp is like a fresh breath of oxygen. Vampires do not tire and they are made of pure muscle. There is no escaping them. They have no idea what they are doing until afterwards. Their minds are blank. This is what happened to Wes on the night of August. Having heightened senses he could smell the girl's blood for a mile. He hadn't hesitated when he spotted her. She was going into the small cottage an he had followed her in. He had thrown her against the bed and bit down into her neck. She struggled and fought him for all she was worth, but she was small. He could easily over power her an he did. He sucked her dry, leaving her heap lying there. Having enough blood to satisfy him now, he could understand what he had done. To Wes, that was worse than an unforgivable curse. He had taken the life out of a pretty girl. Even though she looked peaceful, he was sick with himself and someone was coming. If Sylvia hadn't pulled him out the back, the girl's husband would've killed him and Wes would have gladly let him. He thought himself a monster and destroyed himself on the inside for the next few years about it. --

Not long after his personal tragedy did Sylvia seperate them from the other Sanguinis to move to rural America. There was too much War in England and the promise of a small place deep in the swamps of Louisiana was to good to pass up. So, she uprooted the coven of four to live there. It was private and warmer than England. The swamps hid the sun and the occasional person getting lost in the swamps were a treat. Alliagators that were 'dried out' were taken to town for money and the small rice plantation kept the local resturaunts in business. It was a tourist trap town and an income was maintained. They did not primarily live on alligators, mind you. They fed on humans that would not be easily missed in town and many in bigger cites surrounding the little town. They made their living on selling alligator skins for clothing items for a long while. When they got too old to still inhabit the area and the neighbors got too suspicious they moved.

The boys worked more often than Sylvia did wherever they ended up. They avoided the west coast in general. Cities like Chicago and New York attracted Sylvia and occasionally, they worked in Casinos in Vegas for a couple of years. They were never in one place for long after Louisiana and eventually, Sylvia found it safe to return to England. The second Wizardring War was over. She could focus more on her vampire civil rights movements. She wanted to be treated as an equal. That was why she, and her commanding role over the coven, sent Wes back to Hogwarts. He had had a somewhat close relationship with the headmistress back during their school days and was accepted to finish out his second year. He was to prove that vampires could be safe and that they were still some that retained magical abilities.

    --November 4, 2021

He did not let it out that he was a vampire. People generally thought "EVILMONSTER!OMG!" when told about a vampire in the Wizardring world. The fear, appealing to some, was not adored by Wes. He loathed himself already, the terror stricken faces did not help his self-hatred any. He was feeling the effects of self-loathing one night in the gardens at Hogwarts when he met Giselle. They had shared so much that night and somehow he knew they were meant for each other. They had told inner most secrets and connected on a deep level. They were soon inseperable after that night.

A problem sprang up between them though. Hadyn Bryant, Wes's best friend had driven a wedge between them. Eventually he and Giselle broke up and he and Hadyn were together for a one night only thing. His heart always belonged to Giselle though. He still to this day mourns over the loss of her, wanting her back. He is still best pals with Denny and has burried himself into turning the whole he busted between Borgin & Burkes and the store he bought in front of it into the toy shop his mother would be proud of.
