Blair stumbled around, occasionally tripping on wild tree roots. The ends of her jeans were caked with mud, just like her favorite pair of black knee high boots. In her right hand was a large bottle of tequila, with about a fourth already gone. As she lifted the bottle to take another drink, she heard a twig snap and she turned to examine the area with wide eyes. Seeing no humans, or creatures, she tipped the bottle to her mouth and let the liquid pour down her throat and turn to liquid in her stomach. She loved the feeling of tequila on an empty stomach.
She only did this once a week now, she was getting much better at keeping her secret hidden. She couldn't help getting wildly drunk like this every once in a while, she was addicted to it. She wasn't just addicted to the alchohol, even though that was part of it. She was addicted to the feeling the tequila gave her. She liked the bubbly feeling, and the happiness that seeped through her. Blair used to only be happy when she was drunk. But her relationship with Jakob had kept her from the drink until tonight, two weeks later, when her thirst for it was making her brain do flip-flops. She took another drink and laughed, tripping over another tree root.

Lysander froze as Blair turned around. Praying that she wouldn't see him, he steadied himself against a tree. She had clearly heard him stumble into a bush a moment before. Inside his head, he wondered whether he ought to be here, but reasoned that if one of the Slytherins was up to something, he wanted the know about it. Clearly Blair was drunk, and Lysander held back a snort. He had never cared for alcohol himself, and found it funny that others did so much.
As Blair's laughter cut the air, Lysander saw her trip. A sudden rush of sympathy fell upon him and he shot forward and caught her before she hit the ground.
