First of all, I should give you a name. Every book I've ever heard of has had the name Diary. You're kind of plain, a solid black cover, White pages, Plain gray lines. Prudence probably. Ha, Dear Prudence. I surprise myself sometimes.
Dear Prudence,
Today, I'm officially in as Astronomy Teacher at Hogwarts. If you could only see how happy my face is right now (inserts sarcastic smile and tone here), but I'm not going to bore you with the gorey details. I'm not very happy about it, but Kingley seems estatic. So estatic that it makes me wonder why I ever said yes in the first place, but I did and he's just being Kingley I suppose.
Let me tell you about him(seeing as he gave me this and inserted his first letter in the back.) Kingley and I met in first year. We were both at Quidditch try-outs and of course, Mr. World Cup Quidditch Star, got it over me first year, but fortunately we made friends quickly.
I started seeing him as more than a friend in second year. All his letters made me laugh and I would always miss him. Third year I was head over heels. Fourth year we became a couple. Fifth year he nearly had an anurism before the Tri-Wizard tournement was over. Sixth year the idiot wanted to quit school and we broke up. Seventh year we had a great reunion in the Quidditch Shack. Trust me, it was great. He's asked me to marry him and we've been happily engaged for a couple of years now. And that, in a nut shell, is the Jasper and Kingley story. Oh, I have a picture of him:
( I think that's when we're waiting to go to me mum's house for the first time as a couple. Not so long ago. He looks so happy)
I can see Astrid's chicken scrawl in pink ink at the top of my page. For any of those reading this in the future it says Hey Jaspy, Astrid here wishing you good luck and stay out of detention the first week. It'll ruin your reputation if you don't. Love ya lots, Astrid Violetta Longhorn <3<3<3 So, speaks my dearest friend Astrid Longhorn. She is very quirky and appears at the strangest times. We're really a perfect match as far as friend's go. She is a free spirit and spends her time taking pictures for Muggle and Wizardring magazines and working for the Ministry as a secretary. Here's my only muggle picture of her:
I have one other friend. He's my go-to guy. He's my little dork that I adore. I'm very glad to have him. His name is Emmett Charles. He's my little nerd. He knows everything about everything it seems, like a walking encyclopedia. The only thing missing for him is Astrid. I've always told Astrid she goes well with Emmett, but she won't listen, though she knows I'm right. He works for the ministry now. I have a muggle pic of him too, I'm in it too. This is at the ball we went to that his parents threw (Muggles. Definitely better booze at Wizard Parties):
Anyway, I have nothing much else to say today, nothing much happened. So, I will attempt to look through my little stack of paperwork to go through. Ha, I'm going to be here all night.
This is when I miss my Kingley most. He always makes paperwork more fun. So, goodnight, Pru. See you tomorrow.

The Letter from Kingley:
My Dear Ever Lovely Jasper,
It is your first day at work and I'm already missing you. I hope you don't curse to many children. Instead of your little fascination with being an auror you'll be sent to Azkaban yourself. Wouldn't Livinia love that?
I can't wait until the summer. Write me soon. I haven't got much to say that I haven't already said in my other letters. I love you, duck. Please stay out of trouble. I'll come and visit when we're in the area. I'll see you then.
All my lovin',
Kingley
