First Impression»» [/b]
Those looking from a distance might see her as a stuck-up brainiac. It is true that she much prefers solitude over socializing, but she's not conceded by any means.
Self Image»» [/b]
Overall, she's very happy with herself. However, she can find multiple flaws when she's not in a good mood. She hates how easily she can break out when she's stressed, so she make an effort to remain calm in all situations.
Positive Traits»» [/b]
- Intelligent- She always was smart, especially in math. Her muggle teachers adored her for this, but her fellow students loathed her. Though she didn't enroll in Arithmancy at Hogwarts, her love for the subject never died. Instead, she simply decided to take classes more on what she didn't know very well.
- Adaptable- She can adapt to anything. Her first major adaptation was her parents divorce after her dad found out about her mother being a witch. Later, she quickly and willingly adapted to the wizarding world in the hopes of a life with less tension. Obviously, she adapted to her change of plans.
- Multi-lingual- Her grandmother alwyas found it important that everyone have an education in language so as to be able to receive every learning experience out there. Given these values, Violet's grandmother schooled Violet in French, German, Latin, and Russian. Unfortunately, she passed before they got to German.
- Hard-worker- Though she doens't get out all that much, she is always doing something to benefit either her cause, or someone else. She loves volunteer work and helping those who ask for it. So far, she has participated in twelve food drives, three mission trips, seven homeless shelter dinners, and counting.
- Good memory- If you say something once, she never forgets it. She can recite a whole book if she felt like she had the time.
Negative Traits»» [/b]
- Too realistic- Though being realistic is a good thing, Violet goes over the top. She hardly lets herself be imaginative. Some people have told her this, but she always uses the excuse that she is down to earth. More like down to the core.
- Easily stressed- She doesn't have a reason. She just is. She studies every night and still crams for her tests the night before. Then, even though she knows the answers, she feels blank. Afterward, she paces while wondering what she made. Even if she makes a perfect score, she does the same thing over and over again.
- Compulsive need to be right- When she helps someone with homework, she tends to get a little bossy and will argue for hours on end about how she's right and her "student" is wrong. She has been chewed out too many times to count for this exact reason.
- Shy- Multiple times, she has told herself to follow her own advice. The reason she has a problem with it, is that she's scared of what other people might think. This is why she never starts a conversation. Her thought is that if someone wants to talk to her, then they will.
- Horrible handwriting- Her print isn't all thad bad, but her friends have spent days trying to decipher one page in cursive. It's not her fault really. She broke her wrist when she was little and now it plagues her with constant arthritus pains.
Likes»» [/b]
- Caffeine- She wants to stay awake all the time so that she can read a whole novel in one night.
- Reading- She loves to read anything and everything.
- Blending in- There’s nothing she hates more than being noticed. Being called on in class is a huge embarrassment, even if she has the right answer.
- Writing- Though she hasn't written any books or anything like that, she enjoys being able to write down her inspired thoughts without anyone being able to read them (thanks to her illegible hand). Someday, she hopes to publish at least one hit of fiction. After she becomse Minister of course.
- Studying- She doesn’t get out much.
Dislikes»» [/b]
- People who bother her- When she wants to be alone the most, is when everyone decides to give her attention.
- Drew Longhorn- She gets easily annoyed with his immaturity towards school and his grades. Other than that, they get along pretty well. Especially when he doesn't understand the homework assignment.
- Messes- When she sees a mess, she cleans it up. She can't stand living in a dump. She has received many complaints from her roommates where they couldn't find something that she had replaced.
- Violence- From watching and experiencing it as a child, she naturally loathes it. Sometimes, she's glad her parents don't talk to each other because she's afraid they might pull out the fists and wand.
- Bugs- Especially spiders.

Classy, but not flashy. She likes to be inconspicuous outside of class, but would much rather be wearing formal black dresses. Her wardrobe consists mostly of dark greens, blues, and blacks. She has very few browns or reds, and absolutely no yellows or pinks.
She has two coats. A charcoal gray peacoat, and a hoodie for more relaxed times such as winter in the common room. Her peacoat ends at her hips and fans out near the neckline.

Past»» [/b]
- Up until she was eleven, Violet never showed any signs of magic, and her mother never revealed her secret. Even so, she was still bullied in school because of her adoration for math and her advance into honors classes. In fact, she skipped second grade and came close to skipping third. No matter where she was, the bullying never ceased. Once, when she was shoved to the ground, she landed on her wrist wrong and broke it. However, she didn't have the guts to tell on her harassers. Instead, she made up the story that she tripped on uneven ground and hit it on a book. Her parents began home schooling her and her grandmother taught her all the languages she knew.
- When she received her letter, her father, Anderson, was furious with her mother for hiding her true identity from him. They were divorced and Patience took Violet to Diagon Alley and Platform 9 3/4 alone, as Ham had been forbidden by their father to accompany them on their first trip. Even with all the preparation, Violet still felt uncomfortable with being completely alone. After reassuring her daughter that wizard school was much different from muggle school and promising to write absolutely everyday, Patience left to live the next few days in solitude until Ham came to stay with her for the week and then back to his father's as that was the custody agreement.
- Again, Violet found solitude much more enjoyable at Hogwarts. She was not avoided like she thought she would be. Instead, she was welcomed with open arms. The only reason she didn't develop very strong friendships was because of her preference for books and history and numbers. She was too shy to talk to anyone.
- During the holidays at her dad's house, she is not allowed to use magic in his presence. Though he is starting to warm up to it, he will never fully accept it. However, her brother, Ham, is fully supportive and fascinated by how different the magical society is. So is his dog, Vinnie.
