[/font]The British Ministry of Magic is located in London, hidden deeply underground to avoid the prying eyes of muggles. It is currently being led by Kingsley Shacklebolt and the British community is very pleased with the changes that have been made. Massive reformations have been made - the Muggle - Born Registration Commission has been eradicated, pro - pure blood laws are void, and court systems have become more just.[/size]

Shops, Stores, and Pubs.
[/font]Shops and pubs are essential to the wizarding world. Shops and pubs may either be in Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley. All owners of shops who require additional staff will be in charge of deciding who does or doesn't get to work at their shop. If someone applies in this thread for a job at your shop, a staff member will inform you so that you can decide if they get the job or not. If someone applies for a job that is all ready taken, a staff member will kindly let them know.[/size]

[/font]Quidditch is the most popular game in the magical world and is moderated by the Department of Magical Games and Sports. Professional teams have large fan bases and the league's winning team is the team that has scored the most points during the season. Every four years, a Quidditch World Cup is held. Each country selects its best players to represent their country.[/size]

The Daily Prophet.
[/font]The Daily Prophet is the main source of information for British wizards and witches. It is currently run by Editor in Chief, Barnabas Cuffe. The Prophet is closely linked to the Ministry and it's articles were heavily influenced by the Ministry right before the Second Wizarding War. The evening edition of the Prophet is called the Evening Prophet while the weekend edition is named the Sunday Prophet. A Protean Charm is cast on every edition so articles can change as news comes into the Prophet's bustling offices.[/size]

[/font]St. Mungo's, which was founded in the 1600's by Mungo Bonham, can be entered through a condemned, red brick building. It is located in London and hires healers, mediwitches, mediwizards, and receptionists to service its five floors.[/size]
