Audio Jordan had just about had it. Not that he was angry, per se, just irritated that he couldn’t figure out the location of one tiny blonde. He’d tried the entirety of the Quidditch pitch, -even looking in the stands-, around the lake, and plenty of other places that people tended to like to go when they preferred to be alone.
And he knew Hadyn was trying to be alone more and more as of late. Not that either twin was particularly tactful, really, but out of the two, Audi was far more careful with his words before he spoke. His brother was his other half in almost every way, but he knew Svelte had a tendency to be, well, rash. And if whatever had happened to Hadyn had been caused by a specific person, he knew his brother well enough to know he wouldn’t think his actions through until after they’d been done.
So he looked for Fun Size on his own, finally winding up outside the library.
Might as well give it a shot, he thought. The library could be restful. And it was an easy enough place to get lost in. He came here sometimes, looking up an exact spell or wand movement in order to make a product work. His brother had an avoidance of all things reading or academic, and so did Audio, but out of the two he was much more likely to sacrifice that intense dislike in order for a spell to work properly. He’d do the research, bring it back, and they’d sit together and try to apply it. In fact, they’d singed their hair so much as children that Lee had finally gotten tired of it and just shaved it off. It was safer, and much less likely to catch on fire. Even when they got better at controlling their explosions, short hair was just inherently more practical. Even if the owners were far from traditional.
Though, the work Audio put into research wasn’t completely one-sided. Roosevelt had more patience when it came to figuring out how something actually worked. He’d sit there and tweak with something for hours, because it would bother him immensely if it stayed a riddle. It was a little known fact, actually, his somewhat OCD behavior over their projects. Most people liked to see him as the smooth slacker he was academically, and Svelte liked it that way.
As he walked in, the librarian on sight gave him a warning glare. He sighed. She never would forget that one mishap explosion. Quietly, he started ducking around the aisles, peeking in the more hidden corners he knew of and secluded tables that people could seek refuge in.
Both twins were tired of seeing their best childhood friend act so weird. They knew something was wrong – and Audi was determined to find out. To be frank he was worrying his head off. Something that could deflate the fiery Mini Me that bad had to have been catastrophically big.

Insides Screaming, Body Sleeping It was true.
Hadyn had been trying very hard to be alone these days, for several perfectly good reasons. She hadn't meant to offend anyone, or worry them, or make them seem she was mad at them for some odd reason. She wasn't! She still loved her friends (or what was left of them), and would kill for them, but she couldn't help it this time. This time, Hadyn had some very, very good reasons.
She had been avoiding people like the plague, especially her friends. She didn't want to tell anyone why she was acting strange. The fiery Hadyn had been tamed, at least temporarily, and only a little, but she had been subdued. The little blonde was scared to be alone with a guy she didn't trust, and was spooked easily when someone unexpectedly touched her, or thing of that sort. She'd jump a mile and a half, when normally, she would have laughed and swatted them away. But that was only one subtle difference; however, this was probably the one that the twins had noticed the most.
She loved the twins. They were so alike, and so different at the same time. She adored them with all of her heart, and found it very hard to deprive herself of her little love and happiness crack-heads. They were a spark in her life, fun and playful, and so ready to bring a smile to your face. They could always work their magic on her. Most always -- if she didn't smile around them, something was wrong for sure.
Hadyn hadn't been smiling too much lately.
She sighed. She really hated keeping secrets from her friends, but that was the reason she stayed away from them. She would have to tell someone eventually if she hung around them the way she did before. And this wasn't for her own benefit -- it was for Luca's. She would absolutely despise herself if people found out he had raped someone, when he really actually was nothing like that. She loved Luca Lovell just as much as she did the twins, and was not going to let something terrible happen to him because of her.
So it was with sluggish reluctance she had confined herself to the library. She wasn't there to read, or to study. God knows if someone found her doing something like that, they would rush her off to Saint Mungo's. She had come her because it was secluded, and it had couches.
Yes. Couches.
She hadn't meant to fall asleep at all. She had just intended to get comfortable. Hadyn hadn't had sleep at all the past few nights, due to terrible nightmares she couldn't seem to shake and sickness that was probably due to a pregnancy she was trying desperately to keep a secret. So she had just curled up on the couch, and within moments, the little blonde spitfire had fallen asleep.
She was a quiet sleeper. Hadyn didn't take any room up at all on the couch, she was so small. Her legs were curled up to her chest, and her face was to the inside of the couch, the back in her face. She had snuggled up to it, hugging a pillow, with her blonde hair spread-eagled around her in cascades of blonde curls. She looked peaceful and serene, and rather endearing this way.
A stranger might want to pause and look, because you didn't catch Hadyn Bryant looking peaceful and serene these days.
