Shane is always grinning about something or another, so most people have no problem approaching him. He's always sweet and kind, so whenever anyone hears his last name, they're a little surprised. Of course, when a person learns his mother's name, they understand.

Shane is confident, but not too confident. He's happy with the way he is and doesn't seem to want ot change anything. He's quite content with his life.

Positive Traits»» [/b]

• Problem-solver: He's always been good at finding different options to solve any difficulties he might encounter. He's able to approach them in a thoughtful and intelligent manner, making sure the consequences work out for all parties involved. He hates to see his decisions affect anyone badly.
  
• Flirtatious: He can't help it; he enjoys the ladies. Often times, he might flirt with other guys just to see their reactions. This may possibly belong underneath negative traits, but to Shane, this is certainly not a bad trait at all. He enjoys being a little opportunistic, he can't help it.
  
• Assertive: Never one to hold back, Shane is always right there, displaying his willfulness and sometimes subborn nature. He won't mince words, going for honesty, even when he knows it can wound.
  
• Loyal: Shane is a friend for life. Even if someone decides to backstab him, he is always there, having a friend or ex-friend's back. He'll protect them until he can't anymore.
  
• Unjudgemental: Shane approaches people by assuming they are all good and pure. Then, by seeing what they're like, he slowly changes his view. He knows that all people are not good, but he likes to find out for himself, rather than looking into gossip.

• Reckless: Always the adventurer, he's been known to turn his parents' hair grey. Never afraid and a bit of a davedevil, he's landed himself in bad fixes on a regular basis. It's a good thing he's got those problem-solving skills.
  
• Overly confident: He can boast and he knows it, but he never strives to change it. He thinks if he's as confident as he is, he can be that way. If someone comments on it, they might get something of a snarky retort back.
  
• Competitive: Driving to win at all costs, Shane can get into confrontations, though he hates them. He'll compete in things even though he may not think he'll win. He just enjoys being there and having the adrenaline rushing. He does like to win, but if he doesn't, it doesn't really matter after about an hour or two. At those times, he's raring to go again.
  
• Impulsive: More often than not, Shane follows his heart's desires rather than what his inner voice tells him to do. This goes hand in hand with his recklessness and competitive drive. He knows he should be more careful, but his voice of reason just has no control over what this boy does.
  
• Self-righteous: Unfortunately, Shane can get up on a soap box. He'll drive people mad with his constant ideologies. A good smack, however, will get him back on track. However, at times, it won't. Most especially if it's an issue he really cares about, like the idiocy of pureblood mania.

Surprisingly, Shane's boggart is a horse. He's had a fear of these magnificient beasts ever since he was thrown from one while visiting some of his mother's friends in Finland. The horse nearly stepped on him and he was just five, so the sight of a hoof coming for him froze him. Luckily, his father was quick enough on his feet to move him out of harm's way. However, the horse got his father, increasing the fear. Adrian ended up having to return home early to England so that the bones in his arm could be repaired.

Shane hasn't been near a horse since.

Shane's most distinctive feature would be his eyes. They're the kind of arresting eyes that make people turn and look again. It's sometimes very hard to hold a conversation with him because they're so intense.

Another thing that makes people know him well is his constant smile. A frown can be a dangerous thing and so can a smirk. If there's a smirk on these lips, the party or parties involved might want to consider moving several feet away.

Comfort is number one with Shane, so you can find him wearing everything from slacks to jeans and robes to Muggle wear. He likes a variety, but he really does enjoy black or dark clothing. Most of his closet is filled with dark clothing. He's not sure why, it's just how it ended up.

Shane isn't Mr Popularity, but he's certainly not a social outcast. People know who he is and he has quite a few friends. He likes being in large social settings rather than smaller circles, but those are all right too. The professors like him, as well, since he's never a problem in class.

• When Katie Bell married Adrian Pucey, everyone was quite confused by it. They couldn't understand how these two had gotten together. In school, they were in rival houses and both Chasers for their teams. After Hogwarts, however, the two found themselves inexplicably entwined. Katie, at first, wasn't sure she wanted to marry a former Slytherin, especially one who tried to torment her on numerous occasions. But he kept popping up everywhere and soon Katie realized that this man she was trying to run so hard from was the one she wanted to marry. Adrian was charming and unaffected, showering Katie with gifts and strangely enough, poetry. After nine years of their game, the mismatched lovebirds married.
  
  
• Shane was their first child and only son. Sweet and mild-mannered, he was a constant joy to both his parents. Even as a baby, there was barely a peep from him unless it happened to be a happy gurgle or a light giggle. And, just shy of his fourth birthday, he joyfully became an older brother, helping his mother with his new sister whenever he could even though he couldn't really be trusted to do most of it at four.
  
  
• On his eleventh birthday when the letter from Hogwarts came, Adrian and Katie also found there was an acceptance letter from Durmstrang. Confused, the couple questioned Adrian's estranged parents (who hadn't liked his marriage to Katie) and they admitted they'd recommended him. Together, however, Adrian and Katie decided their son would be suited best for Hogwarts. They didn't want him too far from home anyway. His sister followed four years later, though she, too, had received the dual acceptance. Adrian and Katie still do not regret their decision, despite how they made Adrian's parents angry.
  
  
• Adrian and Katie are still fighting Adrian's family on the subject of marriage. They want to marry him off to a nice pureblooded girl, so that the family won't be plunged more into disgrace. Adrian is continuing to work on severing ties from them completely. It's not easy and they are forever sending Shane letters, outlining the girls they want him to marry. Shane, of course, ignores each and every one of them.
  
  
• In any event, Shane's first five years of school passed by without incident. He merely floated by happily, enjoying each day to its fullest extent. Sometimes a little too much when it came to girls. Especially one certain girl, whom of which he's never quite gotten over. Though he can make break-ups he's done all nice and right, he can't do the same when he's broken up with. His sister, usually, helps him during these times as well as his father who was never lucky in love, he maintains, until he met Katie. Both children always wrinkled their noses at this, even though they are asked time and time again how was it Adrian Pucey and Katie Bell got married.
